-Baptism of the Lord-

This Sunday, the message we’ll be sharing is about Abraham’s journey to Mount Moriah and God’s call for him to “Go.” When we don’t really know the meaning of life, and when the choices and paths in front of us feel heavy and frightening, we wonder if trusting God is what gives our journey its meaning.

The questions and fears we carry are completely natural. And the weight of life we may face as we grow into adulthood can feel overwhelming and unclear. In the midst of those worries, perhaps faith and life are not about having everything figured out, but about walking step by step with God, even through dark and uncertain roads. To believe that God watches over us, provides what we need, prepares the way ahead, and stays with us to the end, discovering that God is near, maybe that is where the meaning of life is found.

If we are in a season of uncertainty, testing, silence, or wavering, we are not alone. I pray that we can come before God just as we are, worship together, encourage one another, and become the kind of friends who can walk the road of life side by side.

삶의 의미 찾아가기, 여호와 이레 - 창세기 22:1-19

이번주일 함께 나눌 말씀은 아브라함이 모리아 산으로 올라가며 하나님께서 “가라”고 하신 부르심에 대한 것입니다. 삶의 의미를 잘 모르겠고 앞에 놓인 선택들과 길이 무겁고 두려워 보일때에도 하나님을 신뢰하는 것이 인생의 여정이고 의미가 아닐까 생각합니다.

우리 가운데, 청소년들이 가지고 있는 삶의 질문과 두려움은 당연한 것이고 앞으로 어른이 되어 마주할 삶의 무게도 막막하게 다가올수 있을 것 같습니다. 그런 고민 앞에서 믿음과 인생은 모든 것을 다 알아야 하는 것이 아니라 하나님과 함께 한 걸음씩 어두운 길을 걸어가는 여정이 아닐까 생각합니다. 하나님께서 우리를 살피시고, 필요를 채우시며, 가야할 길을 예비하시며, 끝까지 함께 하신 다는 것을 믿는 것, 하나님이 내 곁에 있다는 것을 발견하는 것이 삶의 의미가 아닐까 생각합니다.

불확실함과 시험, 그리고 침묵과 흔들림의 시간 속에 있는 친구들이 있다면 혼자가 아닐 것입니다. 있는 모습 그대로 하나님 앞에 나아가 예배하며 서로를 격려하며 함께 인생의 길을 걸아갈수 있는 좋은 친구들이 되어 줄수 있기를 기도합니다.
