-5th Sunday after Epiphany-

“Life as Wilderness: The Weight of God’s Holiness” - Leviticus 19:1-2

This Sunday, we will gather around Leviticus 19, the Code of Holiness. Through the sermon, we will reflect on what holiness truly means: God’s invitation to live with justice, mercy, and shalom in difficult and uncertain times.

As we navigate a season marked by fear, division, and concern for our immigrant communities, we will embrace the call to stand up for the dignity of all people and the call of faith to protect the vulnerable. 

If you are feeling weary, anxious, or simply seeking God’s presence and peace, you are welcome here. We gather together to listen God’s voice in the wilderness and to be reminded that holiness is lived out through love.

“광야의 인생: 하나님 거룩의 무게” - 레위기 19:1-2

이번 주일은 “성결 법전” 이라고도 불리는 레위기 19장 중심으로 말씀을 배워 보려고 합니다. 설교를 통해 하나님이 원하시는 거룩함이 무엇인지 나누어 보려고 합니다. 불확실하고 어려운 시대속에 거룩함으로 살라는 하나님의 명령은 정죄 하거나 통제 하라고 하시는 것이 아니라 정의와 자비를 실천하고 샬롬을 이루도록 부르시는 하나님의 초대입니다.

두려움과 분열이 깊어지는 세계 속에, 이민자 공동체를 향한 염려가 커져가는 이 시기에, 우리는 모든 사람의 존엄을 지키고 연약한 사람들을 보호하라는 믿음의 부르심을 기억하고 기도하고자 합니다.

지키고 불안함 마음으로, 혹은 하나님의 임재와 평안을 갈망하며 주님앞에 나아오는 모든 유스들과 가족들에게 하나님의 평안이 임하길 간절히 기도합니다. 함께 모여 광야 가운데서 들려주시는 하나님의 음성에 귀 기울이며, 거룩함은 사랑으로 살아내는 삶임을 기억하는 우리 되기를 기도합니다.
